I've had an idea...

Hi everyone, On the odd occasion I have a problem when running my layout (using NCE Powecab) I sometimes struggle to 'emergency stop' things if there is a problem. There is an emergency stop button but it only stops the loco you are running. I did read that three taps stops everything, but mine does...

Re: Laundry Lane in OO

Ooooh an update.

I really liked this layout when the updates were pouring in. Can't wait to see how it has developed.

Thanks

Re: Servisol Super 10

Thanks Paul.

I have IPA in a bottle. I put it in my track cleaning wagon and use it from a lid with a cotton bud. So hopefully no chance of getting it many places.

Thanks

Re: Servisol Super 10

Thanks for that bigmet.

It's just not something I have come across before.

I use IPA in my CMX machine. I just wondered about this stuff for wheel backs. I will steer clear though and carry on with IPA on a cotton bud.

Thanks

Servisol Super 10

Hi everyone,

I read a comment about using this stuff on train wheels and wheel pickups etc.

It is not a product I have ever used, so I thought I would check on here. Is it safe to use? Or is there a reason I haven't come across it before in the hobby

Thanks

Re: Millsend Layout - OO Gauge Sixties Midland

Hi Jim,

The videos look good to me. Sound seems ok too. It really shows off your layout. Didn't realise how long the bridge was until I saw the trains trundling over it.

Nice work.

Thanks

Re: St. Blazey's - My first layout - Stage 3 Building

Holy cow! The painting and weathering on the station building is amazing.

Also, it's always a pleasant surprise how much lighting adds to a building.

Brilliant work

Thanks

Re: Camelot Junction

Hi End2end, I do not have a link but I do have copies of all of the photos and videos from the original site. Someone kindly sent them to me. I had to promise they were for personal use only, but I have it all, yes. As I said above, the original site and YouTube channel disappeared nearly ten years ...

Re: Camelot Junction

Thanks for the reply roger.

Good point, however I would be copying the rest of the layout.

I guess I can still rename it.

This is why I'm gathering opinion, so I don't make a mistake later

Thanks

Camelot Junction

Hi everyone, Camelot junction was the reason I got back into model railways. I stumbled across the layout on YouTube and I knew I had to dig out my trainset stuff from when I was a kid. None of it was any good but that's another story. My first attempt at a proper layout in a brick outbuilding was a...

Re: Camelot Junction

Hi Steve

See if you can find a back issue of 'Model Rail' from December 2008. eBay is your best bet.

It features the layout with a track plan.

Hope that helps

Thanks

Re: MIDVILLE JUNCTION Modern 00

TimberSurf, I am using two servo testers and a toggle switch. Can I put a resistor in the servo positive wire?

Thanks
