Re: Lift out section

Hi, Just to give you an idea of how I did it. I have a hinged section that raises for underneath hidden lines and a large hinged section that does the scenic mainline. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4292/35774676082_632eaa626a_c.jpg Untitled by daniel payne , on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com...

Re: 32-377 Class 37 troubles

I have two bachmann 66's with similar problems. Fine one minute, struggling the next. Wheels are clean, backs are clean.

I have an older 8 pin and a newer 21 pin.

They both used to be really reliable

Following with interest, let us know how it goes

Thanks

Re: Self adhesive numbers

That's a very generous offer, but from the measurements you have given I am pretty sure they are a winner.

I will see if I can pick some up this week.

Thanks

Self adhesive numbers

Hi everyone,

I am after some small self adhesive numbers for my mimic panel. I have some isolated sections and the switches for these are remote. I could do with some 3 or 4mm numbers, like what used to come with blank VHS tapes (if anyone remembers what I'm talking about)

Thanks

Re: Girder bridge sides

I was thinking more like the peco lk-10.

Plate girder bridge sides.

Thanks for the reply though

Girder bridge sides

Hi everyone,

I just wondered if there was a model or a kit for longer girder bridge sides than the peco lk-10.

Flat topped rather than curved would be better for what I want but it doesn't really matter.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Waterfall

As a rule of thumb, I tend to leave it overnight. I built a waterfall using silicone and clear casting resin. It works well. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4322/35813375641_ab63dd6e88_z.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4321/35791163661_8baef7f730_z.jpg Thanks Dan

Re: Static grass puffer bottle

Mine was a fly swat type but it was already assembled from eBay. It took weeks and weeks (from china). I had enough of waiting and complained to the seller. He gave an apology and a full refund. Turned up next day. I did contact the guy. I'm not a thief. But he assured me it had taken too long to ar...

Thanks Jim,

I must admit, when it first came to life I knew it wasn't going to be the last I'd have.

Thanks

Re: MIDVILLE JUNCTION Modern 00

Hi everyone, I had big plans to get loads done over the weekend but it just didn't happen. I did manage to have a bit of fun on the layout. I bought a Hornby TTS sound decoder for my 67. I have never had anything with sound before. But at less than 40 quid I thought it was worth a punt. To try it ou...
