Re: Small OO townscape - inspired by Tetley Mills

Lessons learnt:

1. Use a thicker layer of clay
2. Scribe thicker and deeper lines between the slabs
3. Make the colour variation more subtle

Apart from that, not too bad for a first attempt:

Most of which would've been wasted due to one end being against a wall.

Re: Small OO townscape - inspired by Tetley Mills

Done a better job on the inner loop. I get what you're saying, but I'm going to leave it for now. You can barely see the jump, and the sound is a bonus if anything :P Anyway, got all the track laid: http://bluesuncorp.co.uk/moar/Layout/DSCF1563.JPG Now I just need to put the divider in and I can sta...

Class 24 dismantling

Afternoon all

I've lost one of my cabside windows inside the body of the loco. Now, I've got the main body off, but it's still rattling round inside the cab.
Anyone know how to get the cab interior out without breaking anything?

Re: Small OO townscape - inspired by Tetley Mills

Got the outer loop laid, and soldered the wires to the track. Haven't made a fantastic job if it, because the train jumps a bit.
