nothing kills the realism more than a tail chaser where you can see the train all of the time surely it doesn't do that if it's a round the room layout as you can never see whats behind you if you are in the middle looking to one side? if you follow the train round then sure you can see it all the ...

Faversham model Shop, East Kent models in Whitstable, if your after Hornby stuff the factory in Margate opens on Fridays I think it is. There is also one in Rochester, the Signal box, bit further away though. New one in Ashford too, not sure of the name of that one. If it's still on Canterbury model...

Hi

Have you thought of using the Greenwich couplers? They are operated by permanent magnets as I understand it and are also compatible with other couplers

You do have to make them yourself though but may be something worth considering

I think that you are biting of too much with your elevation plans: I believe that you will really struggle to get anything up the 6” between slate mine (level 1) and slate plant (level 3). If there is 10 feet of track between them it will work out at 1:20 but on a curve. What method of baseboard ...
