I use NCE and the last loco to have TTS was a Hornby King class... absolutely no problem, so please don't include me in that blatant incorrect assertion.

Re: Led's

Poundland used to be a 'pound' to purchase, but it no longer is , and there are lots of occasions where the item is unpriced. Last week I picked an unpriced pack of 4 marker pens, went to the self checkout as that was all I had - and there was a pound in back pocket.. £2 please said the till, and th...

Re: Cd rom motor disappointment

Why should all motors have the same characteristics, If they were you wouldn't need CV2 adjustable at all.? Depending on which CDROM motor it is, it may not be able to move a reasonable length HST at all , they are not designed for power , but smooth running, and it doesnt take much energy to spin a...

Re: eLink

Not so much PC compatible, as requires a PC ( not tablet) to work , or an Elite. Otherwise well worth perserbering with any problems as its quite complicated to get it going. Tablets + mobiles can be used for a throttle as long as they all have licences from Hornby for each.. Got to disagree with t...

Re: elink

There is no Android "APP" for Elink or as the software is called , Railmaster.. I dont see how a tablet could be configured for such an operation. You might be getting confused in that you need a PC to connect and run RAILMASTER and then you can WIFI use a tablet device as a throttle etc.....

Re: Dapol wheels

The Dapol axle is a different length to the Hornby and Bachmann one . As to whether you could swop the wheels , I havent checked if they were the same axle diameter or not.. Check the back to backs , because the shallow flanges leave them easier to derail than the Hornby deep ones, and make sure the...

Re: PVA viscosity issues

Some PVA's do that, particularly the glues intended for wood and the like. For scenery try a 50% mix of CRAFT GLUE ( from The Works etc) and 50% water with 0.01% washing up liquid ( just a tiny spot of course)
