Re: Hasford Blacklock - N-Gauge

That HST is just heavenly.

I am really looking forward to seeing how this layout progresses.

Not enough N gauge modern image out there in my opinion.

Do you remember a layout called Edgedale and Nether Gill?

Is this a station sign? [Photograph]

I found this in my garden in Amotherby, North Yorkshire.

The village used to have a station on the Malton to Thirsk line.

Is this half of the old station sign?

Re: Garage Layout

I love the hill. The grass looks spot on!

One thing I'm not keen on are the trees - sorry. They look a tad 'plastic'.

Overall though - coming on nicely!

Re: Parkway Junction

That is utterly fantastic.

After finding out on this thread that he had a girlfriend from the office, we then found out he was getting married to her.

Now, on this thread, we find out he's having a baby!

That's great! :)

Re: A truly British Layout, constructed in France

Incredible.

Apologies if I've missed it, but what's the total size of the layout?

Re: A truly British Layout, constructed in France

I can't believe I'm about to make a criticism.

The second photo down, I'm not sure I like the lichen used for general vegetation. It looks a bit 'samey'.

It's an awesome layout, but I feel some different styles of trees/bushes would be greatly advantageous.

Re: Found on the BBC

Bagby is only about 10 miles from me in deepest North Yorkshire.

Trust me, the nearest chavs are a good 6-7 miles away.

http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq224/BuxtonMidland/2008_0115ModelRailway2004.jpg I will be returning to the UK for 10 days... Two points. 1 - I LOVE the fact you even remembered to put a ventilation shaft chimney above the tunnel. Genius! 2 - 10 days eh? Here's a lump of wood - build me a layout!

May I be the very first person to say that this layout will instantly become one of the favourites on this site.

That is simply stunning.

Or put the wife and kids in the loft and have the house for your layout.

Re: New Layout - Brilliant basboards reviewed 2/9/8

£65 the pair?!

I value my own legs at less than that!

I've got some B&Q trestles which were on here a while back, and they are fantastic.

A few of them and some wall brackets do the trick if the layout is stationary.

Re: New Layout - Brilliant basboards reviewed 2/9/8

A couple of questions:

1) How big are the boards in total (ft x ft)?
2) How much, if you don't mind me asking, were the boards and legs?
