New Class of loco for DRS (Class 68?)

According to Railway Illustrated this is no longer a rumour and the deal should be signed this month: 'Vossloh has offered DRS a "revised price" on ordering 20 Eurolight 4000 locomotives in late July and a deal was expected to be tied up in early August.' Looks pretty much like a class 67 ...

Re: Deltics are Being returned to service

This has absolutely nothing to do with lack of motive power but is rather an excellent PR stunt by GBRF who have a reputation for playing the media game. They could quite easily spot hire another 66 from a number of hire companies within 24 hours. They have played a blinder with this one and have su...

Re: It's N Gauge

From what I can see no one has made any threats. As for the facts..... the article seems to present the facts very clearly.... remember 'even' if he is just at the end of the chain of looking and downloading pictures that very act feeds the activities of those at the other extreme and ends up with p...

Re: It's N Gauge

I have no problem with the thread being locked but I would be disappointed if it was deleted as I believe it is important that people should Know about this individual in case he tries to return to the hobby...it is then up to a customers moral conscience whether to deal with him or not.

Re: Dapol class 58 with Sound

Ha, what a beast that Canadian loco is compared to the 66.... what with that photo and Zunnan's link to that American webcam (http://www.livestream.com/greatlakeslive) on a different thread, I am beginning to get an unhealthy interest in North American railways.

Re: Dapol class 58 with Sound

Hi Zunnan

Not sure that it would be as easy as you suggest..... have you seen inside the class 58.... it is a tight fit just to get the body on let alone fit other things inside.

Re: Graham Farish Class 37 DCC with Sound

Hi Douglas Good job. Have you tried fitting sound in any of the retooled versions of the 37 or any of the latest Farish models.... seems almost a shame to spend money on the old 37 as the base model is pretty awful looking compared to the retooled version. I guess due to the large amount of space in...
