This year’s introduction of some superbly detailed passenger rolling stock will complement the exquisite range of steam, diesel and electric locomotives in the Hornby stable.

In previous years, the introduction of LNER teak and Stanier coaches has shown the sheer magnificence of the steam era’s premier passenger rolling stock. Following this fine tradition, expect to see a rake of BR maroon liveried 61ft 6in corridor coaches - a Composite Brake, 1st Class, 3rd Class, Buffet and Sleeper. Collectors of the exquisitely detailed Stanier coaches can also look forward to re-numbered examples of the LMS Standard Period 3 and BR (ex LMS) Corridor coaches.

Modern coach stock is also in abundance with BR stock from Mk1s through to the sleek Mk4s. Entering the range are a set of Eurostar Centre Coaches. The new Mk4 GNER ‘Mallard’ coaches will also be a welcome addition for modellers of the modern East Coast Main Line scene. ‘One’ Anglia is also represented this year with a representation of a Driving Vehicle Trailer (DVT), ideal for completing a prototypical train hauled by a Class 90 or 47 and Mk3 coaches.

Following customer feedback, Hornby is pleased to be able to offer the much requested TGS Mk3 coach in a number of liveries from the 1980s to present time - ‘BR Inter-City 125’, ’Virgin Trains’, ’First Great Western’, ’One Anglia’ and ’Midland Mainline’. Mk3 Sleepers will also be available, in ‘BR Inter-City’, ‘ScotRail’, ‘Royal Household’, ‘Northern Belle’ liveries.

In short, the Hornby range of coaches has something to offer for most periods, regions and enthusiasts!
