Water Tower

Review: The
Hornby Skaledale Water Tower is an brilliant scenery piece to add to any Model
Railway Layout.
The detailing of the water tower is very
good and of high quality. The bricks at the bottom of the tower appear to have
been hand painted individually, the ladder looks realistic although plastic, the
wooden door fits with the look of the water tower, The window pane was the only
disappointing feature I found on the water tower as it didn’t appear to look
straight which my attention was drawn too.
The water area at the top of the tower has
been painted in black gloss, which adds to the realistic look of the water being
stored in the tower.
The tower is weighted at the bottom, which adds to the realistic
look and feel. Although the top half of the water tower is made
from plastic it does not spoil the appearance of the water tower
on your layout or when being held.
