Railway Bridge
Hornby Skaledale Railway Bridge – R8570
The Hornby
Railway Bridge is a very good looking model. Like other
Skaledale models the railway bridge is made out of
high density poly resin
and to my surprise comes as one complete piece.
The bridge is designed to
carry a single line of track over a road and to be incorporated
into a custom built embankment. The track bed on top of the
bridge smooth and should allow you to lay your track and ballast
the track across for the embankment across the bridge. You will
not be able to pin track down on the bridge so I suggest you
position a long straight across the bridge and secure it on
either side.
Overall
this is a good model highly detailed and well built. Its only
fault is that it is only designed to carry a single track over a
road which is no good for most modellers that have 2 track
mainline Oval layouts.
