I was impressed with this model wagon. It
had all the extra features, including weathering effect, spring buffers, NEM
coupling, brass metal wheels, and is weighted. It also runs as well as it
looks with no problems going through standard Hornby points at more than
scale speed. Its Chassis is finely detailed with all the mechanical parts
which allows this wagon in real life to empty its load. This model does not
appear to have any limitations except possible inaccuracy which I have no
way of checking.
This model is essentially the same as R2222 MGR Coal Hopper but with a few
minor aesthetical differences. The Main deference is a partial canopy on the
top which in my opinion looks too much like its just been stuck on (which I
think it has) and not part of the model.
