I couldn't ask for more.
This is one of Hornby's new more detailed models and I can tell you, the
detailing on this model is excellent. It has all the usual railway markings
(live wires etc) as well as finer detailing including two ladders and two
hand rails. This model has working spring loaded buffers and close cupping
for realistic running. It also has metal wheels which are a realistic
colour, and the model is even pre-weighted.
This particular model is weathered, which in my opinion is a must have
feature. The wheels on this model run incredibly free. This model has no
problem with running and is a joy to shunt. Looks good with any EWS loco,
but I like running it with my two EWS class 37 which are also weathered.
These models come individual or in a pack of 3.
Recently I heard there was a problem with some of the scaling on this model.
Frankly as long as it looks good and runs well that's all that matters to
me. I would buy more of these wagons.
