Worth Buying - This is an average model. The model has limitations and does not have a full range of mechanical or detailing features. For a railway model to be rated as "Worth Buying" a model must score between 4 and 7. Eurostar. (R6658) Rating 5/10, (R) Runs fantastic, but room for more detailing. Very Fast!!

Full Hornby Train Set. This is it best locomotive I have. It has a special motor which allows it to pull a long train at high speeds. This train never stalls. Like the class 90 loco, it can't be run at full speed without carriages. I have yet to see a train that is faster. Detailing is good as well as track handling.

The only problem I have had with this model is that the front of the locomotives sticks out more than other trains when going around a bend. This caused it to hit the station in its normal position. Because of this I had to move the station further away from the track (problem solved). This is due to the placement of the front wheels well back from the front of the locomotive. This is not Hornby's fault, rather a problem with scaling a locomotive accurately. This really is a must buy.
