Bit of a cross over between the two threads.

Something Heritage. City of Truro at Gloucester in 1975. A chance encounter - we were just passing.

Next up - a loco with the early British Railways logo.

Next - complete the set with "BRITISH RAILWAYS" on the tender or tank

No photos of 'Tornado'? A WILDCARD perhaps?

The problem posting image links and a couple of other problems are awaiting the "server guy" It seems to be that the problems have appeared after anti hacking measures were introduced. Possibly involved some changes to permissions.

Somebody MUST have taken a photograph at London Waterloo or Birmingham New Street or Glasgow Central or the like?

So do I. Apparently some members are experiencing logging in challenges. It would be nice to see a photo of a large multi-platform station.

A loco before the Grouping - Avonside B4 Class locomotive No.34 'Portbury' is visiting Beamish Museum on loan from Bristol Museum for a few months.

The engine was built in 1917 for the Inland Waterways & Docks Board (I. W. & D.) of the War Office by the Avonside Engine Co. Ltd. of Bristol.
