I have been looking around on the net for a diagram....... I have just built an automatic reversing unit for DC and im sort of getting into this ELC stuff lol Now my question......... Is it possible to make your own DCC decoders that would be compatible with the more common controllers ie hornby or ...

i would have put the station at the top of that last trackplan you posted
so you can have the two lines coming off of the two mainlines for the platforms and keep the twom mainlines for "fast track/ freight"

ive just noticed this thread, your layout is really neat and tidy, i wish any of my little areas were that tidy i have STUFF everywhere

the buildings look really good however just a bit clean
the weathering on the wagons is great, if you did it the just apply a bit of the same to the buildings to "dirty them up" then i think it will give it a more "realism" feeling
